Entry Fee $100 per 2 person team (which means $50 per person) (No refunds for any reason)
BIG FISH ENTRY FEE EXTRA $10.00 PER TEAM
FIRST PLACE–$1,500 CASH
Plus MISC. door prizes too numerous to mention
(Must be present to win, only person whose name is drawn may receive prize, no exceptions, proof of ID may be required)
80% Cash payback
(20%
to cover expenses to set up tournament and Fish Fry)
Based on 100 Teams cash payback is $8,000.00 (to be paid in Fifteen places)
Rules:
1. Choose your own partner, (must have 2 person team)
2. Take-Off positions determined as entries are received, in groups of ten, in 2 MINUTE intervals past spotter boat. If you fail to idle past the spotter boat before taking off, you will be disqualified from the tournament, SPOTTERS DECISION IS FINAL!
3. 12 fish limit, fish must measure at least 12 inches.
4. Must lock through dam 21 in order to fish pool 22.
5. Winners will be subject to Polygraph test.
6. Cost of Polygraph test to come out of entry fees.
7. If test fails you forfeit all entry fees, winnings, and will be disqualified, no exceptions.
8. Any fish that appears as though it was caught in any way other than on a road and reel is to be thrown back or you will be disqualified, no exceptions.
9. Winners determined by total weight of Catfish, Judge’s decision is final.
10. Late penalty – 1 pound per minute.
11. No bank fishing, fishing only from boat allowed.
12. Off limits: Marina, fishing within illegal limit of dam.
13. No trailer may leave tournament site during tournament hours.
14. Boat must be launched and taken out at South Side Boat Club.
15. Boat may not be put in water until checked by an official of the tournament and engine tagged with team number. NO EXCEPTIONS
16. We reserve the right to refuse any entries, for any reason.
17. Dead fish limit 1 TOTAL PER BOAT; Big fish may NOT be dead. (Dead fish may NOT be bloated)
18. All tournament contestants must maintain 100 feet of other contestants.
19. All contestants need to arrive early enough on tournament day to be in water by 5:30a.m. Any team not arriving early enough to do so will have to wait until after all teams have released to put boat in water, regardless of boat number. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
20. In the event of a tie, the Big Fish weight will determine the winner for that place and the other team will move down one place. If no big fish is weighed, team that entered in big fish will be the higher place. If tied teams did not enter big fish, team that registered earliest will be the higher place. Judges decision is final.
21. Amount of poles allowed in tournament, is the amount allowed by law.
22. Fish can only be weighed in early if an official from the tournament is present. NO EXCEPTIONS!

· Saturday August 2, 2008 6:00a.m.-2:00p.m.
· Entries limited to 100 teams (Boats)
· Entry deadline to avoid late fee: July 25, 2008
· Late entries have a $20.00 extra fee!
· Launch Site: South Side Boat Club
· Take-Out Site: South Side Boat Club
· Take-Off: Daybreak (approx. 6:00a.m.)

· Weigh-In 2:00 p.m. at South Side Boat Club

In signing this agreement, we hereby release AquaTech Marine, South Side Boat Club, Sponsors, Contestants, Tournament Officials, and Organizers, from any claims, damages, costs, or expense relating to injury of any persons or property which we may maintain or which may be caused by reason of participation in or in connection with this tournament. Furthermore, we state that we maintain current liability insurance on the boat used in this event.
